This little European cafe on the Main St has the best traditions of an English tea room. Menu includes sandwiches and breakfast items, but we went in for English tea and scones. Tea is served in real china cups with saucers and the tea pot comes with its own "tea cosy". The scones, which are home made, and are fluffy and crumbly, are served with butter, jam or clotted cream. Perfect place for anytime of the day.

Just like taking a trip to England. Great little gem with wonderful food and super friendly staff. Great atmosphere and a lovely place to share a spot of tea with your favorite friends and lovers.

I went with my boyfriend on a date and it was great! The staff was very nice and the food was amazing. I got the cheesy toast with tomato, their portion sizes are also perfect in my opinion. Enough to fill you up, but still leaves room for desert. Speaking of their deserts are also pretty tasty, we had the manchester and an apple tart. I believe they make their own whipped cream, but I might be wrong. Anyway I definitely recommend thus place for a date or a get together with friends!

Central Perc is amazing. I visited for the first time about a week ago and enjoyed a Heath Bar Latte, which was lovely. Yesterday I ordered High Tea for two via takeout, and I was extremely impressed to receive all of the pastries and sandwiches boxed up. The tea (House Blend) was a lovely and traditional flavor, (which is exactly what I asked for!) and it was bagged up right in front of me. I enjoyed all of the sides, especially the Victoria Sandwich Cake and the cheese finger sandwich. I also appreciated the friendly and quick service. Be sure to bring cash or cheque if you stop in. Will continue to visit!

A small English tea/bakery in Dayton. The owners are polite and friendly. You get the rustic feeling when sitting inside. Their tea pot, cup and saucers are beautiful. I got the scone with cream and jam. The jam was excellent. They also have sandwiches. I highly recommend paying them a visit. Overall a great place.

Went here for my birthday and got the high tea. The sandwiches were so incredibly good and so were the scones. The lemon tart-like dessert was also good. Some of the best chai I’ve ever had! Adorable teacups and saucers and pots too.

Update - I really love how their soup and sandwiches taste homemade and fresh. Egg salad was great, desserts are fantastic and they also offer french soda. So satisfying, couldn’t take a picture of the scone because I ate it up so fast 😆 first time trying with the cream and jam that isn’t too sweet but just right❤️ my ham, tomato and cheese croissant is delicious. I would come back and explore the menu for lunch. Such a great mom and pop place.

This place was fantastic. I took my sister out for her birthday and we enjoyed a fabulous pot of white tea from the cutest teacups, the Café was packed with people when we got there, and the parking situation was a bit rough, but the service was so friendly and welcoming, and the croissants and marmalade my sister and I ordered were the best I'd ever had. We still talk about those croissants weeks later, and we're very excited to come back.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast here today. The atmosphere is full of British charm, right down to the fresh flowers at every table. One of the biggest highlights for me was the acoustics. I am hearing impaired, and often restaurants are too loud for me to converse comfortably. However, even when the cafe was completely full, the noise level was perfectly managed, and we could speak at a normal volume. It was such a relief to enjoy a meal without noise pollution. The food was excellent as well. My husband had the croissant breakfast sandwich and said it was the best he has ever had. I had the soft egg with wheat toast; while the egg was just a fraction over, it was still delicious and didn't detract from the meal at all. The coffee was fantastic (self-serve with free refills and different blends), and the prices are unbelievably reasonable for Oakwood. Note: They do not accept credit cards, but they do take Venmo, which was a convenient "tech win" for us. We can't wait to return for High Tea!
